Getting your player ready...

A different side to Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall has been surfacing in recent weeks.

Gone, at least for media consumption, is the Marshall who oozes charisma, drama and controversy. Instead, Marshall has become so boring, he has started to answer questions like a coach.

With the Broncos’ locker room closed to the media at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday, Marshall stepped in front of his locker at 12:01 and asked if there were any questions.

Are the Broncos about to start facing tougher opponents?

“I think every week in the National Football League, every week is a challenge no matter who you’re playing against,” Marshall said.

Getting more comfortable offseason given your offseason and training camp?

“Very comfortable.”

Anything you can take from the five-catch, 67-yard, one touchdown receiving performance against Oakland into Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys?

“Nothing. That’s last week. Dallas presents new challenges and we have to do our best to prepare for them.”

The challenges?

“Big, fast, and they’re an explosive team. They make a lot of plays, big plays.”

(It’s now 12:02. One more question is allowed.)

Are the Cowboys better than the Raiders, Browns, etc.

“I’m not going to say that. In the National Football League, any given Sunday — I think that’s a true statement.”

Well said.
