John Fogerty’s most recent Colorado shows were for Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Copper Mountain’s Country festivals, so fans will be pleased to hear he’s returning for “an evening with” concert (i.e. no openers). The show, part of a full-band tour to promote “The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again” (sic), takes place Nov. 16 at the Buell Theatre. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($35-$65, Ticketmaster)

Queen Latifah has been visible lately more for her acting work than her music, although she still keeps that part of her career alive with discs that dip into vocal standards (“Trav’lin’ Light”) and more pop-oriented material (this summer’s “Persona”). She’ll take to the road this fall, including a rare Denver stop at the Ogden Theatre on Nov. 8. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($28.50, Ticketmaster)

Leftover Salmon & Friends is the band celebrating its 20th anniversary with longtime collaborators and — what else? — friends, so expect some surprise guests to hop onstage. Tickets for the Jan. 2 show at the Ogden Theatre are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($36.25, Ticketmaster)

Reverend Horton Heat fans were disappointed when the grease-rockers were dropped as part of a canceled Motörhead show at the Fillmore last week, but they’ll have another chance, at the Ogden Theatre on Jan. 14. Tickets for the show, with Deadbolt and Reno Divorce, are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($9.33-$25, Ticketmaster)

Chad Price of beloved Denver country-punks Drag the River is pulling an inspired stunt to promote “Smile Sweet Face,” his new solo album: an acoustic tour of 10 Colorado breweries in a single day, ranging from Fort Collins to Denver. It’s a testament to our state’s rich vein of beer resources that Price can even do it, but he’ll also play some proper shows at Colorado Springs’ Triple Nickel (Oct. 22), Denver’s Oriental Theater (Oct. 23) and Fort Collins’ Road 34 (Oct. 24).
