The city of Boulder, the University of Colorado and Downtown Boulder Inc. on Thursday issued a joint statement opposing a campaign being conducted on Facebook to bring back the Halloween “Mall Crawl.”
The unsanctioned Mall Crawl drew thousands of revelers to Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall on Halloween until the city shut it down in 1991.
