The city of Denver will distribute more programming guides for its recreation centers, thanks to a $60,000 sponsorship from UnitedHealthcare of Colorado.

The sponsorship will allow the city’s Parks and Recreation Department to print 75,000 guides per year, up from the 20,000 copies printed in previous years.

The guides will detail what is available in more than two dozen recreation centers. They also will give information about classes and programs available to the public.

The guides will be distributed in Sunday editions of The Denver Post and at recreation centers, libraries and UnitedHealthcare offices.
