A 47-year-old Golden woman is suspected of fraudulently cashing counterfeit postal money orders, police said.

Jane Ann Bockenthien was arrested Tuesday in Jefferson County, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department.

Bockenthien is accused of duping friends, including at least two who cashed fraudulent money orders against personal accounts at their own banks, police said.

Investigators suspect Bockenthien of cashing at least $1,700 in bogus money orders.
