A medical helicopter spotted a man who spent the night in freezing temperatures near Guanella Pass and airlifted him to a local hospital this morning, according to 9 News.
The man, who is in his late 20s, was separated from his friends on Saturday during a hike. His friends reported him missing to the Park County Sheriff’s Office.
He was dressed appropriately for the frigid weather, but he was very cold and appeared to have a shoulder injury.
The man’s name was not released.
