Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska returned to the practice field for the first time since its 27-12 come-from-behind win over Missouri last week, and coach Bo Pelini likes what he saw as the Cornhuskers began preparations for Saturday’s home game against Texas Tech.
Pelini said the 15th-ranked Huskers had good tempo as they practiced indoors for 90 minutes Monday. Pelini said the three-day break allowed his players’ bumps and bruises to heal.
Pelini announced that freshman tight end J.T. Kerr had surgery to repair a shoulder problem. He said Kerr, who was to sit out this season as a redshirt, should be back for spring practice.
