Gossip, formerly the Gossip, is eager to show mainstream American audiences what indie-punks and Brits already know: that big, bold soul singer Beth Ditto and her backup duo are forces of nature in concert. They’re touring behind new album “Music for Men,” Monday at the Bluebird Theater. $20. (Ticketmaster)
Roger Daltrey is long gone from his heyday with the Who, but you don’t need tight pants, big hair and mic twirls to play — which he’s doing at the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday. The “Use It or Lose It” tour is his first solo outing in 24 years, and he’s mixing some Who classics in with his voluminous solo work. $49.50-$69.50. (TicketHorse)
