AUBURN, Ala. — Randall Cobb scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 4-yard run with 3:17 to play as Kentucky came from behind to defeat Auburn 21-14 Saturday nightthe Wildcats’ first win over the Tigers since 1966.

Cobb set up the winning score with a 61-yard zig-zagging run two plays earlier.

Cobb rushed 12 times for 109 yards, and Derrick Locke ran 19 times for 137 yards.

Kentucky (3-3, 1-3 Southeastern Conference) had tied the score with 6:29 to play on a 2-yard run by quarterback Will Fidler, who entered the game in the second half.

Ben Tate rushed 31 times for 132 yards, his fifth 100-yard game of the season, for Auburn (5-2, 2-2).

Georgia 34, Vanderbilt 10

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Joe Cox threw two touchdown passes, including one to Caleb King, who scored twice, and the Bulldogs (4-3, 3-2 SEC) beat Vanderbilt (2-5, 0-4) for the 14th time in 15 seasons.

Boston College 52, North Carolina State 20

BOSTON — Boston College’s Montel Harris set two school records with 264 yards rushing and five touchdowns to lead the Eagles (5-2, 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) over the Wolfpack (3-4, 2-3).

Michigan State 24, Northwestern 14

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Kirk Cousins threw two touchdown passes to Blair White in the third quarter to spark the Spartans (4-3, 3-1 Big Ten), who trailed 7-0 at halftime against the Wildcats (4-3, 1-2).

Northwestern had won three consecutive Big Ten road games and two straight in East Lansing.

White finished with 12 catches for 186 yards and two TDs. Northwestern receiver Zeke Markshausen had 16 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Virginia 20, Maryland 9

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Virginia defensive end Nate Collins scored on a 32-yard interception return to help the Cavaliers (3-3, 2-0 ACC) win their third consecutive game, in a cold, steady rain. The Terrapins (2-5, 1-2) have lost four of five.

Clemson 38, Wake Forest 3

CLEMSON, S.C. — Freshman quarterback Kyle Parker threw for a score and ran for another; C.J. Spiller finished with two touchdowns and 106 yards for his 10th career 100-yard game and Clemson (3-3, 2-2) sacked ACC pass-efficiency leader Riley Skinner five times. The Demon Deacons (4-3, 2-2) came in as the Atlantic Division leader and could’ve opened up a two-game lead on Clemson.

California 45, UCLA 26

PASADENA, Calif. — Jahvid Best ran 93 yards for a touchdown and caught a 51-yard scoring pass for the Bears (4-2, 1-2 Pac-10). UCLA (3-3, 0-3) has lost three straight.

Connecticut 38, Louisville 25

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — Andre Dixon ran for 153 yards and three touchdowns for the Huskies. Cody Endres threw for 273 yards and a touchdown as UConn (4-2, 1-1) beat the Cardinals (2-4, 0-2) for the third consecutive season.

West Virginia 24, Marshall 7

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Noel Devine rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, freshman Geno Smith threw a scoring pass after Jarrett Brown went down early with an injury and West Virginia (5-1) beat Marshall (4-3).

Idaho 35, Hawaii 23

MOSCOW, Idaho — De’Maundray Woolridge rushed for four touchdowns for the Vandals (6-1, 3-0 Western Athletic Conference), who are bowl-eligible for the first time since 1998.

Temple 27, Army 13

PHILADELPHIA — Temple (4-2) won its fourth consecutive game, its longest winning streak in 24 years.
