FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A third person who was overcome in a sweat-lodge ceremony run by self-help guru James Arthur Ray has died.
A sheriff’s spokesman said 49-year-old Liz Neuman of Minnesota died Saturday. Neuman was transported to the Flagstaff Medical Center on Oct. 8 with damage to multiple organs. She was among more than 50 people crowded inside the sweat lodge at a resort just outside Sedona.
