Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing a woman multiple times in what Denver police describe as a domestic attack.
The stabbing happened early Monday, and the woman was found about 4:50 a.m. behind a grocery store at 7400 E. Hampden Ave., Denver police said. The victim was in serious condition at Denver Health Medical Center.
Eulalio Chavez, 33, was arrested Monday night in Aurora, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman. The victim was hospitalized in serious condition.
Chavez is being held in jail on suspicion of first-degree assault and attempted murder, police said.
