DENVER—A former Alamosa Housing Authority executive director who pleaded not guilty to embezzling from the agency is scheduled for a change-of-plea hearing next month.
U.S. Attorney David Gaouette had filed charges accusing Patricia Ann Martinez of writing checks from the agency’s account for a total of about $123,550 to her sister, nephew, a son of a housing authority employee, that employee’s business and an unnamed Alamosa businessman in 2005.
She now lives in Fort Collins.
U.S. District Court documents filed Thursday in Denver show Martinez is scheduled for a change-of-plea hearing Nov. 4, but a plea agreement hasn’t been filed yet.
