Aspen RB Nicky Ufkes amassed 314 yards and three TDs on 24 carries in a 42-21 rout of Roaring Fork. Ufkes has topped 200 yards in his past four games, going for 264, 303 and 226 before Friday. During the span, he’s gained 1,107 yards and rushed for 15 TDs.
Tough way to lose.
Bear Creek senior QB Zach Thenell ran for two scores and threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-point loss to Arvada West.
Stroud nets six TDs.
Swink running back Kyle Stroud rushed for six TDs in a 75-8 pounding of Hanover. His six scores, four of which came in the second quarter, accounted for 228 yards.
