Historic Town of Terror

Haunted house or… a whole town that’s full of haunted houses? Situated on six acres 8 miles west of Cañon City, Buckskin Joe’s Town of Terror features authentic buildings from the 1800s that take on lives of their own after dark. New this year is the extended route, which includes Deadman’s Lane and Claustrophobia. The town is haunted each day beginning at sundown, today through Halloween (closed Monday). Tickets for adults and kids 11 and up are $17 and go on sale each day at 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Gorge Scenic Railway Depot. Visit for more information.
