About a dozen Colorado residents created short films about their ties to Africa for this event, which supports education projects for girls in Africa. Topics range from an interracial marriage to a child’s account of her role in helping illuminate a remote village. African items, books and jewelry will be offered too.

The promotion celebrating the return of the Denver-to-Salt Lake Greyhound bus means it costs just a dollar to ride anywhere between Denver and Salt Lake City. Conventional pricing ($94.50 one way) resumes on Tuesday. Bus stops include Idaho Springs, Winter Park/Fraser, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Steamboat Springs, Milner, Hayden and Craig.
