Construction on Interstate 70 finished a day early as a winter storm moved in.
Traffic resumed around 12:30 p.m. today on eastbound I-70 between 6th Avenue and Colfax, according to Ted Hill, Colorado Department of Transportation spokesman.
Crews were expected to be working until 5:30 a.m. on Monday but completed the project about 17 hours earlier.
The construction was part of completing the light-rail system, Hill said.
