LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska defensive tackle Jared Crick has been named the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s national defensive player of the week for his performance in Saturday’s 20-10 win over Baylor.

Crick made a career-high 13 tackles, 10 solo, and set a school record with five sacks. Crick tied the Nebraska record for tackles for losses, with seven, and also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble.

Crick now has a team-high 8.5 sacks on the season and has 13 tackles for loss.
