A woman is dead and a man injured after a double stabbing at a Jefferson County apartment complex this morning.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at the Dakotas apartments in the 9000 block of West Cross Drive at about 9:30 a.m,.
Their names were not been released.
The woman was resuscitated by emergency crews in the apartment but died later at a hospital. The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Department.
“At this time the Sheriff’s Office has no indication of any third party involvement. Investigators are talking with neighbors and relatives in order to determine what led up to the death.”
