A single-car accident on northbound Interstate 25 has resulted in three people being taken to St. Anthony North hospital and the closure of some northbound lanes.
Commander Dan Kelley of the Thornton Police Department said the accident occurred north of 84th Avenue and south of Thornton Parkway.
He said the car was northbound and moving into a left lane when it swerved sharply to the right and crossed into the right-hand lanes.
The vehicle left the highway and rolled three times but came back on to the road, coming to rest in the far right-hand lane.
Kelley said one of the occupants was ejected. That individual and two others in the car were taken to the hospital.
One northbound lane re,ained open, but the accident has caused significant delays, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
