OMAHA, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says it’s critical for his offense to become more productive as the Cornhuskers make a final push at trying to win the Big 12 North.
The Huskers have no clear-cut starter as they begin preparations for this week’s game at Kansas, and Pelini said Monday he’s in no rush to name one.
Freshman Cody Green was pulled after five series in Saturday’s game against Oklahoma, and junior Zac Lee went the rest of the way in the 10-3 victory.
Nebraska has scored just four offensive touchdowns in its last four games. The Huskers totaled 180 yards against the Sooners.
Pelini says there is a “tremendous sense of urgency” to improve on offense.
