GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—A Texas man wanted on capital murder charges in the slaying of a San Antonio resident will be extradited from Glenwood Springs.

Nineteen-year-old Stephen Vogt is wanted in the Sept. 6 murder of San Antonio resident Mario Raygoza. Garfield County prosecutors received a warrant last week from the state of Texas authorizing the extradition.

Vogt and 17-year-old James Garza, also of San Antonio, were arrested in Glenwood Springs for allegedly shoplifting items from a market.

Garza was extradited in early October and is being held in Bexar County Jail on capital murder charges. Vogt is expected to be extradited within 10 days.
