An Aurora minister has been arrested as a suspect in a sexual assault case involving a child, police said.
Isaac K. Aryee, arrested Oct. 26 at his church, Praise Chapel International Ministries, is suspected of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The church is at 13590 E. Mississippi Ave.
The file on the arrest has been sealed by the court. Aryee, 41, could not be reached for comment.
According to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records, Aryee was arrested in June 2002 in Denver on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute. The outcome of the misdemeanor prostitution arrest was not available in CBI records. Kieran Nicholson, The Denver Post
