LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska put in a heavy afternoon of work, practicing for two hours in full pads on the grass fields north of Memorial Stadium.
Offensive coordinator Shawn Watson said Tuesday that it’s questionable whether tight end Mike McNeill will be able to play in Saturday’s game against Kansas State. McNeill has been battling sore ribs.
Nebraska will honor its 13 seniors this week. Watson said the group has worked hard and done a good job transitioning to a new coaching staff in 2008.
