The death of a man found Wednesday morning in an alley behind 3376 Blake St. in Denver is being investigated as a homicide.
The man had injuries consistent with multiple gunshot wounds, Denver police said. The body was found about 6:51 a.m. by a passer-by, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The victim’s identity won’t be released until a positive identification by the Denver medical examiner and notification of next of kin, said Jackson.
Denver police are asking anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area of the 3300 block of Blake and 3300 Larimer streets to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
