A woman accused of causing a deadly taxi crash near Denver International Airport earlier this year has been arrested for a third time because of a violation related to the original case.
Sandra Jacobson is accused of sideswiping a Freedom Taxi minivan on Pena Boulevard in January that killed two women from Connecticut.
Court documents show her blood alcohol was well above the legal limit.
Jacobson posted a $50,000 bond in January. In February, a judge raised Jacobson’s bond after Arapahoe County Sheriff’s deputies re-arrested her for driving with a suspended license.
In April, Jacobson’s $200,000 bond was revoked and upped to $250,000, after authorities say her ankle bracelet that detects alcohol consumption and airborne alcohol spiked.
She was arrested Tuesday night and booked into the Arapahoe County jail, and is awaiting a new court appearance. Authorities at this point will only say this latest arrest is on a warrant related to the taxi crash case
