Tim Tebow, Florida: Hoping to solidify a spot as a finalist, he had one of his best games of the season against Florida International. Tebow, right, completed 17-of-25 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns and ran seven times for 102 yards and a score. His rushing TD — a 55-yarder — was the longest run of his career and his 54th career touchdown, breaking the SEC record held by former LSU star Kevin Faulk.

Colt McCoy, Texas: The Longhorns’ quarterback completed 32-of-41 passes for 396 yards and four touchdowns in a 51-20 pounding of Kansas. McCoy has thrown for 23 touchdowns and 2,996 yards this season.

Mark Ingram, Alabama: He ran for 102 yards (on just 11 carries), including TD runs of 25 and 40 yards in the first 20 minutes, as Alabama raced to a 35-0 halftime lead against Chattanooga, enabling its starters to take a break in the second half.
