Formerly called the QT store and now the West Bound, this store is 12 miles east of Gunnison. It was originally built in 1904, and carried a complete line of hardware, groceries, meat and feed. Over the years, it has had a number of owners who operated cabins, a restaurant, gas station and store, as well as the Parlin Post Office, which is a drop-off for Denver Post delivery for the Quartz Creek Valley and the communities of Ohio City and Pitkin.
