NEW YORK — Authorities say a New York City subway car became a scene of bloody terror when a man whipped out a knife and fatally stabbed a fellow passenger.
Police say two men in their mid-30s had gotten into an argument aboard a “D” train in midtown Manhattan about 2 a.m. Saturday.
One man pulled a knife and repeatedly stabbed the other in the neck and face.
Police say the suspect is a 37-year-old Bronx man who was standing over the bloodied victim when the doors opened. He has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
