COLORADO SPRINGS — A nonprofit group hopes to buy a Colorado estate once owned by antivirus software developer John McAfee and use it as a re-integration center for returning soldiers.

Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group said the 290-acre estate and 10,000-square-foot mansion could be used for programs that help veterans and families make the transition from war to home life.

The group estimates the property could be purchased for $4 million.

McAfee sold it in 2007. It’s now in foreclosure.
