NEW YORK — Moody’s Investors Service reported that U.S. credit-card delinquencies in October rose from the previous month for the third consecutive time, though charge-off levels continued to ease for a second straight month from a record in August.
Payment rates also improved after two months of declines.
The delinquencies rose to 6.12 percent in October from 5.97 percent in September and 5.79 percent in August. Dow Jones Newswires
