GOLDEN — A Nederland man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two boys whose parents he had befriended has been sentenced to six years to life in prison.
John Arthur Lovelace pleaded guilty in July to one count of sexual assault of a child, but the count named victims in Boulder and Jefferson County. He was sentenced Friday.
In both cases, Lovelace was accused of offering his friends’ sons drugs, sexually assaulting the boys, and then giving them cash not to tell anyone.
