Investigators today used fingerprints to identify a woman struck and killed jaywalking in traffic near East Colfax Avenue and North Peoria Street Monday night.
She is Carrie Ann Marie Williams, 37, of Aurora, Aurora police said this afternoon. She was not carrying identification as she tried to cross the busy street about 300 feet from the intersection crosswalk just before midnight.
No charges are expected against the 31-year-old driver, police said.
