LITTLETON, Colo.—A Denver television station reports that three Arapahoe County jail employees face felony eavesdropping counts.
KCNC reports that sheriff’s Lt. Chris Manos and civilian employees Sue White and Jaella Rangel are due in court next month on charges including conspiracy to eavesdrop.
The station reported in September that employees were suspected of eavesdropping on coworkers’ calls using the jail’s phone system.
Manos’ attorney declined to comment Wednesday.
KCNC reports that Manos and Rangel have been suspended and that White has resigned. Phone numbers for Rangel and White are unlisted.
