COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado College goalie Joe Howe made 24 saves as the Tigers beat Alaska-Anchorage 5-0 Friday in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association game.
William Rapuzzi scored two goals for Colorado College (10-2-1, 7-1-1), which kept pace with Denver atop the WCHA standings with 15 points.
Kris Fredheim, Mike Testwuide and Ryan Lowery scored for the Tigers. Lowery scored on a power play, giving the Tigers at least one power-play goal in 10 consecutive games.
Alaska-Anchorage (5-10-0, 3-8-0) was 0-for-6 on the power play. Bryce Christianson made 20 saves and Jon Olthuis added four in the third period.
The Tigers have won six consecutive games.
