PUEBLO, Colo.—Snow flurries and a winter chill are in the forecast for some holiday celebrations Saturday.

Chilly temperatures and a slight possibility of snow showers were expected for Pueblo’s Parade of Lights and at a tree-lighting celebration in Colorado Springs at the Broadmoor hotel.

The cooling weather comes after Denver came within 5 degrees of setting a heat record Friday. By Saturday night, snow was expected in some mountain areas of the state, most likely in the San Juan Mountains around Telluride.
