The Max fashion show is always a highlight of the holiday season, a sizzling parade of spring 2010 styles from longtime retailer Max Martinez, who has stores in Cherry Creek North, Boulder and Aspen. This year’s show — featuring such designers as Givenchy, Stella McCartney and Diane Von Furstenberg — will be Saturday at Exdo Event Center, 1399 35th St. Doors open at 8:15 p.m., and the runway show begins at 9 p.m. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Volunteers of America Brandon Center, Colorado’s largest shelter for women and children who are homeless or escaping domestic violence. Tickets start at $60 for general admission and go up to $1,000 for VIP seats. Tickets sold the night of the event will cost an additional $10. Purchase at or Max stores at 3039 E.
