DENVER—The FBI says a suspected serial bank robber has struck again.
The FBI says the man, dubbed the $83 Bandit for his habit of asking for unusual amounts of money, is suspected in at least nine bank robberies in the Denver area since March. The most recent was Tuesday.
Authorities say he typically enters a bank, presents a demand note and leaves with money.
Witnesses describe him as white with blondish hair, a slim build and bad teeth. They say he is between 5-feet-7 and 6 feet tall and is in his 30s or 40s.
