PUEBLO, Colo.—Authorities say an 18-year-old Pueblo man faces a manslaughter charge on accusations he provided the loaded gun that his father used to kill himself.
Randy Edward Quaduor was arrested Wednesday after the death of 75-year-old Edward Quaduor. Bond was set at $25,000.
Pueblo County sheriff’s Capt. Jeff Teschner says deputies found the elder Quaduor’s body Tuesday in a camping trailer at a friend’s home. The county coroner says Quaduor shot himself in the forehead.
An arrest affidavit says Randy Quaduor allegedly told deputies he visited his father Monday and, at his father’s request, loaded a .22-caliber pistol and gave it to him.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports Edward Quaduor had health and marital troubles.
Phone numbers for the family were unlisted.
