A 54-year-old substitute teacher in Westminster is facing child abuse charges after dragging a disruptive student from a classroom and causing a minor injury, police said today.
Thomas J. Hissong of Littleton was released with a court summons on the misdemeanor charge after pulling the boy by his clothing out of a classroom at Mandalay Middle School Friday.
The student’s name and other details were not released because he is a juvenile, police said.
