Broncos right tackle Ryan Harris will not play again this season.
Harris dislocated his big toe on his right foot Nov. 1 at Baltimore and re-injured it in the first quarter of Sunday’s game at Kansas City, his first game back in the lineup.
Harris visited a sports medicine specialist at Vail today and was told he would not be able to play again this season, even if the Broncos make the playoffs.
Harris was replaced for five games, then again on Sunday by Tyler Polumbus, a graduate of Cherry Creek High and University of Colorado.
Harris, a third-round pick in 2007 from Notre Dame, started all 16 games at right tackle for the Broncos last season, as well as the first seven games of 2009.
