FORT COLLINS — A jury convicted a Loveland man Tuesday of first-degree murder in a triple shooting that killed one man and injured two others.
Joshua Douglas Renn, 22, was convicted Tuesday in the death of Clinton M. Hiney. He was convicted of attempted first-degree murder in the shootings of Patrick Moore and John Lyman.
All were shot Jan. 12 at Moore’s apartment in Fort Collins.
Moore testified that Renn shot him while confronting him about $300 that he owed Renn for methamphetamine. Hiney and Lyman were elsewhere in the apartment.
Prosecutors allege Renn conspired with Jeremiah Christopher Bryant of Fort Collins in the crimes. Bryant is to be tried in February.
