SUMMIT COUNTY — A 37-year-old white man has been charged with a bias-motivated felony after a black woman was dragged out of a bar by her hair, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses reported the man, Dustin Meadows, used a racial epithet after the argument began.

The victim was “visibly shaken” and had “hands full of hair” when deputies arrived.

Meadows was released from Summit County Jail on $2,500 bond.
