PUEBLO, Colo.—An autopsy shows that a man whose body was found burning in his home in Pueblo County also suffered blunt force trauma to his head and was stabbed.

Investigators responding to a fire alarm call found the body of 50-year-old Robert Piserchio on Thursday.

Piserchio was the brother-in-law of former Pueblo County Sheriff Dan Corsentino, now police chief in Fountain.

Relatives say Piserchio owned a denture business passed on through his family.

Sheriff’s officials are investigating his death as a homicide.
