COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Xcel Energy says it has fixed a gas line that ruptured and injured four contractors in Commerce City.
The utility had urged all customers in the area to reduce their natural gas use Saturday morning as crews worked to repair the gas line. The utility said that cutting back on gas usage would reduce the possibility of outages near the site of the line break near 56th and Vasquez streets.
Xcel Energy says customers can resume normal usage.
The rupture occurred Friday evening and injured four contractors. Details of the injuries were not immediately available.
