GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Grand Junction Regional Airport is on track to set a record for passenger boardings this year.

The record, set last year, is about 212,000. After the first 11 months of this year, the airport already had more than 211,000 boardings.

Allegiant Air’s flight from Grand Junction to Las Vegas has had the largest growth this year, with nearly 23,000 passengers during the first 11 months compared with about 13,000 for the same period last year.

Denver is the top destination from Grand Junction this year, followed by Salt Lake City and Dallas.
