A man suspected of videotaping intimate couples and stealing dozens of women’s undergarments, including cheerleading outfits and a Hooters uniform, will not go on trial.
Wesley Cox, 44, of Boulder is expected to enter a guilty plea when he appears in court next month.
Cox was scheduled to go on trial this week on nearly 20 charges, including burglary, trespassing and misdemeanor sexual conduct.
The trial date was vacated, and a date was set to resolve the case.
Cox was arrested Oct. 31, 2008, when police say Cox’s neighbors spotted him with a video camera outside their window in the 1500 block of 48th Street in Boulder.
The couple called authorities, confronted Cox, held him down and prevented him from erasing the tape, police said at the time.
Boulder police took the unconventional step of asking the public to review a slide show of pictures of women’s underwear taken from Cox’s home.
