Q: What is Rocky Mountain Wealthy Spirit?
A: We are a workshop and coaching company. We focus on aligning people’s money life with the rest of their life so their money supports them instead of stresses them.
The core of what we do is an eight-week workshop. We help people learn about the inner and outer steps to create wealth in our lives, not just financial wealth but emotional wealth too.
Q: What have you noticed about people’s behavior as the economy worsened?
A: People are starting to focus on their money, and they’re starting to think about it. Maybe what they were doing out of habit isn’t getting them what they want.
I think the really tough thing was last fall. It was such a game- changer for so many people that they froze. When we talk about dealing with fear, freezing is better than doing the wrong thing, but it’s not as good as doing the right thing. That’s the major obstacle I see people facing right now.
Q: Is there one rule people must follow?
A: I don’t think this is a rule, but more of a place to start creating a fabulous money life: Start paying respectful attention to your money. I think that is a necessary first step.
The action steps are to think positive. That doesn’t mean ignoring the bad stuff. That means knowing the bad stuff and focusing on the good stuff.
Count your money. That’s a step a lot of people skip because it makes them nervous or afraid, but it’s like trying to play a game and not knowing the score.
Spend as much of your time with people who believe in win-win situations and create them. Seek balance and enlightenment and promote peace and prosperity for all, including yourself.
Money when it works well is a very balanced system. When we get out of balance, money gets out of whack too. I consider money to be an awesome personal development tool. It shows you where in your life you can use work.
