DENVER—Parents of a Denver baby who doctors say had two skull fractures when he was taken to a hospital earlier this month have been charged in his death.
Denver prosecutors allege that 26-year-old Travis Anderson brutally beat his 3-week-old son, Sean. Prosecutors said Thursday that Anderson is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of child abuse resulting in death.
Prosecutors allege Sean’s 27-year-old mother, Crystal Eccleston, failed to get care for the boy. She is charged with child abuse resulting in death.
Both are jailed, and bond is set at $500,000. It was unknown if they have lawyers.
