BRIGHTON, Colo.—Colorado transportation officials say to expect delays on Interstate 25 the next few nights while crews work to replace part of a bridge in Adams County.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says both directions of I-25 near 104th Avenue will be closed for demolition work Tuesday through Thursday nights beginning at 9 p.m., with the highway reopening at 5:30 a.m. each following day.

The work is part of efforts to construct a new center portion for the bridge. Last week, CDOT completed the northern portion of the bridge.

The $6.5 million bridge replacement project is expected to be complete by the end of September.
