DENVER—Denver Nuggets radio voice Jason Kosmicki will assume full-time play-by-play duties starting Jan. 27 following the departure of Jerry Schemmel to the Colorado Rockies.
Schemmel will call his last Nuggets game for the Altitude Radio Network on Jan. 25.
Kosmicki has been on the air with the Nuggets as studio host and producer for Nuggets home games and has called the play-by-play for all road games this season.
He joined the Nuggets broadcast team in 1996 after stints in Eau Claire, Wis., Washington, D.C., Houston and Colorado Springs.
